Now retired, Nanci lives in Florida with her two adult daughters and currently five cats, including Nanci’s Siamese companions Koko and Mikleo. She has returned to her favorite hobby of writing fantasy fiction stories aimed to tantalize those who enjoy tragic, enthralling heroes and heroines. Nanci retired from over 30 years of public service with expertise across the environmental, public utilities, and internal controls sectors. She holds a Bachelor of Science in biology with a minor in chemistry, as well as a Master’s in business administration with an emphasis on sustainability. Along with this fictional series, she has authored various articles, guidances, fact sheets, environmental regulations, and a book on brownfield redevelopment entitled “Utopian Designing – Community Guide to Sustainable Master Planning.” Outside of her professional endeavors, she enjoys reading, golf, amusement parks, professional football, Premier League soccer, and caring for her five cats.
